We stick with manufacturers like GAF that back their product with warranties and dependable quality. If the weather’s cooperative and suppliers are running on time, we’re usually ready to begin within a week.

On the first day of the job, we remove the old shingles. That includes underlayment, old nails, and any worn-out flashing. If the decking underneath shows signs of rot or sagging, we replace it.

Once the old layers are gone, we prep the roof deck. That includes laying down ice and water barrier near the eaves, valleys, and penetrations, followed by synthetic underlayment across the field of the roof. These steps help block moisture and give the new shingles a stable surface.

We install the new shingles using a staggered pattern and nailed according to the manufacturer’s spec. Ridge vents, pipe boots, flashing, and drip edge all go in next. This is where the roof starts to take shape.

When the work is done, we clean up everything—shingle scraps, nails, leftover material. We sweep the area with magnetic rollers and bag the debris ourselves. You won’t be left with a mess in the yard or driveway.
