We start by removing every layer of old roofing material, right down to the deck. This lets us see what we’re working with and avoid trapping problems underneath.

Once the surface is clear, we check the roof deck for rot, soft spots, or structural damage.

Before the membrane goes on, we prep the surface with the appropriate base layers. This might include insulation boards, vapor barriers, or slip sheets.

We install EPDM or other rubber roofing membrane using one of three methods:

• Fully Adhered – glued down across the entire surface

• Ballasted – held in place with stone or pavers

• Mechanically-Fastened – secured with fasteners and plates at seams

We’ll use the method that fits the roof layout, slope, and weather exposure.

We seal around every penetration—vents, pipes, HVAC units—with flashing designed to handle expansion and movement.

At the roof edges, we install termination bars, drip edges, and sealants to keep water from sneaking underneath. Every edge is finished to prevent future lifting or peeling.
